Well, if you think about it, how do you learn anything new?
You begin and then you practice. I do that all the time so what's the difference now? The fact that I'm doing it publicly for the whole world to see!
In reality there's probably no-one even watching. But I'm out there and I'm not comfortable with "out there" generally, let alone being out there before I consider myself proficient. So in itself, this project is a good exercise in trying to get over both my concern of what other people think and my tendency to perfectionism.
Rachelle from Flock shared this little vid with us and it was just what I needed. I have heard the message before but I love the way this guy Neil puts it (see, what he says is right, no-one can say it/do it just the way you can!).
I will hit replay every time I need a little more courage. Maybe his advice will encourage you too!
